The BEST Shows to Watch While Quarantined…

As we all still sit waiting to get out of quarantined, why not spend our time watching the best shows! Here are some of my favorites…

  1. Jane the Virgin (on Netflix): Jane is an aspiring author in her 20s living in Miami with her mother and grandmother promised to keep her virginity until she was married. After an appointment at the gynecologist, Jane was accidentally artificially inseminated by a man’s sperm she does not know. This show is a fun, comical, yet dramatic American telenovela with a Latin twist. Follow Jane’s journey as she deals with love, heartbreak, and unpredictable twists. This show is great to binge and has such an amazing vibe.
  2. Grace and Frankie (on Netflix): Grace and Frankie are two women in their 70s who dislike each other. Their husbands work with one another at their own law firm. Grace and Frankie were hit with the news that their husbands are leaving them to be with each other and get married. This show follows Grace and Frankie as they navigate through their new lives together and learn how to love all over again. This show is awesome to binge, filled with dry, sarcastic humor.
  3. Breaking Bad (on Netflix): Walter White is a high school chemistry teacher was recently diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. Facing extreme debt and the burden he would leave with his family, he begins cooking meth with a former student of his, Jesse. This show follows Walter and Jesse’s dangerous experience doing the unthinkable when it comes to dirty business. This show is great for suspense and action.

I hope everyone stays safe and healthy during these uncertain times!

What To Do While Quarantined…

It is evident that we are in unprecedented times. With most of the world at home, what is there to do? Here is a list I compiled on what to do at home you can do to avoid going insane…

  1. Sleep! This is the perfect time catch up on that much-needed rest you deserve. This is a great time to relax, unwind, and take care of yourself mentally and physically.
  2. Start a new show! Take this time to begin a new show you’ve been wanted to watch. Now is the best time to be a couch potato and hangout with your loved ones. I recently started a show with my mom and we watch it every night… maybe for a little too long.
  3. Cook! What better time can you start experimenting with new foods and recipes. Take a leap and make something yourself, something you always wanted to make!
  4. Clean! Cleaning is crucial, especially now with all these germs going around. Not only is cleaning beneficial o your health, you instantly feel better when you’re in a nice, clean space.
  5. Connect with friends! Social distancing is actually pretty easy in the world we live in today. It is easy to communicate through our phones and social media. This quarantine doesn’t mean the end of friendships.

Stay safe & healthy! We will get through this…

My First Blog Post!

Hello and welcome to my lifestyle and fashion blog, Say Grace. I have always wanted to create a website to share everything about my life, my personal style, my health and wellness journey, and my person faves I use day-to-day. As for a little bit about me, I am a Fashion Merchandising major with a Promotion concentration at Marist College. All my life, fashion and style always intrigued me and I owe all of that to my grandmother. Growing up, she always bought me the most amazing clothes I could look chic in. My grandmother also taught me self-care and how to take care of my skin, and I live religiously by her advice.

Anyway, I am so excited to share and connect with you. Please never hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments! I look forward to sharing…
